PLAYOFFS YTD 10-5 +43 UNITS

20 UNIT Series Bet
PENGUINS +135

Being up 43 units in playoffs, it's not hard to put half of bankroll out:drink:
***Pittsburgh has a very good chance to win this series.
***They have a better defense than they had last year.
***Malkin and Crosby have been on a mission since day one.
***They were in this game last year and have they experience that they lacked last year.
*** The Steelers won the Super Bowl
*** FLUERY***
*** Detroit has all the pressure on them, being the defending Champs
*** HOSSA NOSSA***

I think Pittsburgh has as good a shot as they did last year to win the cup. That being said, your reasons are ridiculous.

***Pittsburgh has a very good chance to win this series. -- So Does Detroit

***They have a better defense than they had last year. -- Minus Whitney, don't think so.

***Malkin and Crosby have been on a mission since day one. -- According to several threads on this board, the Pens were all but out of the playoff race early in 2009. Malkin has disappeared for portions of the playoff run.

***They were in this game last year and have they experience that they lacked last year. -- Probably your only decent, non-homer argument.

*** The Steelers won the Super Bowl -- A dumb reason, but just for the record, no city has ever won the Stanley Cup and Superbowl in the same year.

*** FLUERY*** -- As much as Osgood's an arrogant prick (for an average goalie at best), the matchup seems to be pretty even.

*** Detroit has all the pressure on them, being the defending Champs -- Detroit was the last team to repeat, and have always been at the top. They know how to handle pressure.

Just curious. If all your plays were by the standard one unit per play, typically used to track ones plays...how does that record read?

Tuesday and Wednesday, I won my other no- Brainer which I placed 10 units on each the Det and Pitt series, or $1000 each.
So yesterday I won 20 units or $2000.

I bet 10 units each or $1000 each on the Pitt vs Wash and Philly series.
+ a few straight bets.

I also lost a 15 unit or $1500 bet on Tuesday with the over 5.5.

I'm placing $2000 on this one!!

Go 7 Game Series!

first of all whitney was garbage lol. he was not a good defenseman and very overated. that trade we made to the ducks was a steal for us.

malkin and sid are on fire right now. malkin was absent at the begining of the poffs but no way in hell they are absent now. malkin didnt do shit last year in the finals and we still took it to 6 games. He later said that he was tired because of the long season but now he is used to it.

fluery and osgood are both playing very well right now and i beleive that it will come down to who plays better.

I see this series going 7 games also with a pens W.

Being up about 80 units in baseball(if you haven't noticed my baseball season long thread and yes I'm showing off) I have no problem putting half my bankroll on Detroit for the series. Just kidding. I have 15 units on the Wings to win the series.

One thing I'm sure of is, I'm going to enjoy this series very much. Can't wait for tonight's game.

Detroit is too poised and experienced to let pressure be that much of an issue.

pitt is the better team right now and they r plus 135 just think its a wasted chalk bet and the only play for this series is pitt or nothing! Just my opinion
